Abbeville General is expanding its Surgery Department by adding a 5th Operating Room to the Surgical Suite. A new Skytron 3503 EZ Slide Surgical Table has been purchased, with the following features:
- Electric table with two 12 volt batteries as back up
- Emergency back-up control switches are accessible, if needed
- Maximum lifting capacity of 700 pounds
- Bed slides to and from anesthesia with a touch of a button
