Abbeville General is happy to announce that Dr. Bernard Hojaili, Rheumatologist, is now seeing patients at the Maurice Community Care Clinic. He will provide rheumatology services for our community.

Dr. Hojaili received his Medical Degree from Lebanese University Medical School in 2001 where he went on to complete his residency at SIUH in New York City until 2004. From there, he continued on with a fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City until 2006 when he went to New Iberia to assist with the victims of Hurricane Rita and Hurricane Katrina.

He said, “After Hurricane Rita and Katrina, my passion to serve patients brought me from New York City to New Iberia, where I helped many arthritic patients get better. In 2011, a bad illness afflicted my dad overseas, and I felt the need to go help him. Unfortunately, he passed away. After this happened, my enthusiasm for my beloved patients in South Louisiana brought me back to serve, with my full expertise, every arthritic patient.”

Dr. Hojaili is now serving Vermilion Parish and is currently accepting new patients. We know he will have a great impact in our community.

Appointments can be made by calling: 337-898-9449.

Welcome, Dr. Bernard Hojaili!
