Abbeville General was recently awarded a Workplace Safety Funds Grant by LHA Trust Funds/HSLI in the amount of $12,268 in order to acquire employee badge swipe software. The project will directly impact employee and patient safety by limiting the number of entry/access points that our patients and public have access to when entering into the hospital facility. Installation of access control entry doors with employee badge swipe software would only allow access to authorized staff and will decrease any potential danger of unauthorized access into the facility.
