Abbeville General has recently received a distinguishing award for their commitment to quality and patient safety by the Louisiana Hospital Association Research and Education Foundation (LHAREF) Board. Their role in collecting and reporting data associated with their improvement efforts helped LHAREF finish the HRET HINN strong. Through the hard work and results of Abbeville General staff, the national goals of reducing patient harm by 20% and reducing admissions by 12% by the end of the project have been met in eight topics. Abbeville General will be receiving a monetary award in the LHAREF HIIN Pay-for-Value Fixed Award Program. Congratulations Abbeville General!
